Jefferson County Open Space Parks Much of the Colorado Front Range near
Denver is in Jefferson County, which has many public parks that
have walking and hiking trails. Many of these parks have some great boulders
and crags to pull on. Just be sure you read the rules (which may differ
slightly from park to park). If nothing about climbing is posted, just remember
your climbing ethics of leave-no-trace, pack-it-in-pack-it-out, etc.! We will
post much more specific information and beta about climbing in Jeff-Co parks as
this website develops. There are some good spots close to Denver for the
after-work, weekend and business-trip hiker / climber /
boulderer.
